New Annies...

Here are some new annies I've been working on, I had so much fun looking through my fabric stash to come up with the combinations. I'd forgotten how much fabric I had.....They were each stained for a very primitive look. I made little snowmen from warm and natural and pinned them to the Winter theme dresses. I'll be adding them to my ebay listings.
Enjoy the long weekend and thanks for visiting my blog! Nancy

Knitted Leaf Bookmark

Second to sewing, knitting is my other creative hobby....I love the website 'Ravelry' and am always searching for little things to make in my free time. I found this pattern the other day and have made several of them for gifts...they knit up quickly and are so adorable and functional too....If you love to knit or crochet check out the site if you haven't already...it's a great resource for free patterns and inspiration. I'm trying to teach myself to crochet but can't seem to get the hang of it!
Enjoy your day and thanks for visiting.....Nancy

Finally sewing again!

It's been so long since I've sewn, it was nice to finally find the time! I love how these annies turned out, both are 15" tall and have round heads with chubby bodies.
Here is the newest addition to our family....Lily, a beagle/dachsund, who came from Arkansas. She's very sweet and loves to snuggle up in laps. She and Buddy, our 7 yr. old black lab, have become best friends. We had Summer-like weather last week with temperatures in the 80's, today is back to Spring, rainy and cold.

Thanks so much for visiting my blog! Nancy
